- Brilliant movie all round; thought provoking yet funny. Having read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it, my class decided we should watch the movie. It did not fail delight us one and all. I love that it taught us a little about the environment (who knew Burrowing Owls were real??!), caring for the environment, and treating everyone fairly regardless of how they treat us (Roy has so much gumption when dealing with Dana!) The movie was well cast and followed the book really closely. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would recommend it people of all ages.
- 1wafflesover 7 yearsI just read this book, then I watched the movie. The movie lines up with the book pretty well. I was so surprised to see that Clark Greg was playing the villain in the movie! It is for sure worth your time to watch the movie. But it would be even more fun to read the book before doing so. It really teaches kids the importance of helping wildlife. Please like, reply, and follow me at 1waffles!
- Why stand still and let them build over the Owls just for a new Pancake House? When you and a military school escapee, and the toughest girl in school could shake the whole town just to stop it.
- My brother said it was a sad movie and when I watch it is was really good and emotional.
- I love this movie, even thought I haven't read the book! They are true heroes!

- himarialmost 10 yearsThis movie tells me that I need to respect nature and take care of the animals which are endangered or not. Also I learned that being a bully sometimes will bring bad luck just like Dana in the movie. Mullet Fingers is a very adventurous boy. Roy who is a boy that is always willing to participate and very brave just like Beatrice the bear who is Mullet Finger's step sister.
