Annie (2014)
Annie is a young, happy foster kid who's also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York in 2014. Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they'd be back for her someday, it's been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan. But everything's about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks—advised by his brilliant VP and his shrewd and scheming campaign advisor—makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Stacks believes he's her guardian angel, but Annie's self-assured nature and bright, sun-will-come-out-tomorrow outlook on life just might mean it's the other way around.

- SOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME
- I'm not quite sure if I like it or not... It was okay but I like the old one better! In my personal opinion the songs were great! They were well thought out remixes that didn't take away from the old ones but still made them modern.

- I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain the plot. What I thought of it: Well, to be honest, I only got through (probably at the most) 20 minutes of this movie. So, this is (obviously) only a review of the first 20 minutes. First of all, the singing was pretty bad. Annie was unnecessarily auto tuned. I mean she probably wasn't that bad of a singer, but they just had to go ahead and auto tune her, even though it made her sound worst. Not to mention, they butchered every single remake of the original songs. I only heard (at the most) 4 songs, but none of them were half as good as the originals. None of the actors were too great. Overall, the original was much better.
