It's summertime, and Greg Heffley is looking forward to playing video games and spending time with his friends. However, Greg's dad has other plans: He's decided that some father-son bonding time is in order. Desperate to prevent his dad from ruining summer vacation, Greg pretends he has a job at a ritzy country club. But Greg's plan backfires, leaving him in the middle of embarrassing mishaps and a camping trip gone wrong.

Funny.
Greg is off for summer break. Holly gave Greg his number and never got the chance to finish. Greg has a fake job so he can go to the country club with his friend Rowley because Holy is there. Read to find out how much of a mess he gets himself into.
in the movie Diary of a wimpy kid Dog days greg goes of his summer vacation for 7th grade. in that time he plans on hanging out with molly and tries to get are phone number untill patty pulles molly away and greg gets only half a phone number. at gregs house he starts dialing other phone numbers and cant get the right number. so rowley ask greg is he want to go to the country club and meets molly there. he then goes home and his dad signed him up for a job at his work. Greg dosent want to go there so he says that he already has a job just so he can hang out with molly. he wasent a member so he uses a fake id so he can get in. after a few times going there his dad then busts him. Mollys big sister is then trowing a big sweet 16 party and greg asked them if they wanted his brothers band cald the loaded diapers and said they can play anything. at the sweet 16 party the band arives there and rodrick sings baby from Justin Beiber.(at least tries to sing). the band wrecks the party and molly said that this is a party she will never forget. then molly and greg hold hands and greg gets the girl he wants.
