- WARNING: this is a very sad movie! I cried my heart out; it is very heartwarming but depressing. I watched several times and I am still emotional. It ripped my heart. All in all, I LOVE IT.

- This wouldn't be a movie I would watch every day it is very sad. It teaches us the meaning of true loyalty. The love between this dog Hachi and his owner is undeniably true. This is a heart breaking true story.I would not recommend it unless you feel up to crying.
