Home Alone, directed by Chris Columbus, is a really good movie, with a mixture of a thrill of family comedy, which, everyone should watch. Home Alone is a really good movie because when Kevin's mom finds out that she forgot Kevin at home, she quickly got off the plane after it landed, and hurried to the customer service to see if she could book a flight to Chicago and get back to her 10 year old son. While Kevin was at home, he started doing his things casually. After using all the materials that he needed to use (Food, soap, milk, toilet paper, etc.) he found himself with nothing. So then, he took his brother's life savings money. He walked all the way to the grocery store. On the other hand, there were these robbers (Harry and Marv) who were robbing a house that was empty (because the family was on vacation). As they were robbing the house, Kevin was buying a toothbrush from a liquor store. When he was about to pay for the toothbrush, he saw a guy, a creepy guy that he couldn't resist running away from. When he ran out of the store, he was still holding the toothbrush in his hand. He did not know that he was being called as a shoplifter. He was also confused on why the police were chasing him. As he got home, he overheard Harry and Marv planning on robbing Kevin's house. Kevin knew he HAD to defend his own house, even though his parents weren't there. Kevin knew when Harry and Marv were going to rob his house so he started planning out his traps. As it neared night time, Kevin made sure that all the traps worked perfectly well. When Harry and Marv entered, they were given an unexpected surprise. Both of them slipped on water and ice, and tumbled down the stairs. When the robbers knew it was Kevin who made traps, they started to hunt him down. As Kevin and the robbers came closer to Kevin's tree house, Kevin used a gadget that he made to slide across the rope that he laid out. When Kevin reached his tree house, the robbers started to use the rope to climb to Kevin closer. What the robbers didn't expect was that Kevin had a really sharp scissor. Kevin used the scissor to cut off the rope so that Harry and Marv wouldn't be able to come to Kevin any closer. As you may not know, Kevin had earlier already called the cops. So then, when Harry and Marv hit a brick wall from the rope, dazed, the cops arrested both of them. Still, Kevin's parents didn't arrive back at home yet. It reached morning and still, Kevin didn't see his parents yet. As time ticked away, he heard a door open and someone calling his name. He ran down the stairs and saw his mom. They hugged each other and Kevin's mom said she was sorry. The moral of this story is to never think that you're better off running away without a family. Always love your family forever! I rate this movie 5 popcorn because the movie has a really great family comedy and also because it warms my heart.
Very funny and the little boy.... OMG!! I love the part when he is alone doing the lotion then it burns and after that he slaps his hands on his face!
This movie's pretty funny lol. Though I watched it like 5 times so I'm tired of it for the time being...
