- Person 01almost 5 yearsAngelina Jolie returns to the role as Maleficent in the new Disney movie, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, a sequel to the 2014 movie Maleficent. The plot involves Aurora (Elle Fanning), Queen of the Moors, finding her significant other, Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson), Aurora and her godmother (Maleficent) are invited to join Prince Phillip and his family to dinner, only discover that Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer) isn’t as honorable as she seems. The Moors and Ulstead are the 2 divided kingdoms in Maleficent, many want peace between the 2 kingdoms and they hope for peace when Prince Phillip and Aurora get married. During the battle between good and evil we can figure out the themes in this movie, finding yourself and true love, these are both explored in the relationship between Aurora and Maleficent when Aurora’s love for Maleficent does great things while Maleficent’s character also evolves into someone kinder and better. The use of music and CGI creates a suspenseful and exciting movie to watch, but the plot is quite predictable like any Disney movie, Aurora and Prince Phillip also don’t seem to connect as well as characters in other movies such as 2017 Beauty and the Beast, I believe this film deserves a 2.5 stars out of 5 because of this.

The plot was a war that was going to change everything in everyone’s life. Angelina Jolie portrayed Maleficent really well as I thought her emotions were genuine. The characters were Queen Aurora and the king and queen of Alstead. The theme of this book is family and war because Phillip and Aurora get married and there is a war between the Mores and Alstead. The story between the Mores and Alstead was good but it was predictable and we all knew the queen was always going to be evil. I rate this a 3 out of 5 popcorn.

This film is a battle between good and evil, on the same day the prince and aurora get married. Maleficent travels to Ulstead to meet young aurora’s parents in law to celebrate the engagement of the two lovebirds Aurora and Prince Phillip but what they don’t know unfortunate events are coming their way, but the queen is not as innocent as she seems. The theme of this film is about the strength of love and bond between families. Due to the messy start of the movie I would give this a 4 out of 5 stars.
- Maleficent: The war between the powerful and the toxic. Maleficent: Mistress of evil, starring Angelina Jolie, sequencing from the first Maleficent. As Maleficent visits the Grand Castle to celebrate Aurora’s upcoming wedding to Prince Phillip, Aurora meets her future mother-in-law, the queen of the castle who seems a bit eerie. The characters involved within the movie are the Maleficent (main character), Princess Aurora, Prince Phillip, Diavel, revolving around the Kingdom of Ulstead and the Grand castle. The message I received from Maleficent was to trust your instincts, as Maleficent trusted her instincts of the Queen. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the first movie neither the second movie, as the script and some of the acting didn’t reach my satisfaction, which is why I rate the movie a 2 out of 5.
Walt Disney reprises the second sequel of, ‘maleficent: Mistress of Evil,’ as award winner Grammy, Angelina Jolie returns to the iconic Disney role, Maleficent. Elle Fanning returns as Princess Aurora, Sam Riley returns as Diaval and guest star, Michelle Pfeiffer stars as, Queen Ingris. Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora struggles complexity, outside the peculiar land they live in, ‘The Morse.’ Maleficent has finally crowned Aurora as the Queen of The Morse. As Prince Phillip proposes to his bride-to-be, Aurora his family invited her to a dinner party, to celebrate their upcoming marriage, and expected her godmother to arrive. Upon Maleficent’s arrival, Queen Ingris has plotted a dark-uber plan, to eliminate each and every one of the mythical creatures, as her dark side unravels the Kingdom of Ulstead. That’s when the battle between the Morse and the humans started by Maleficent’s anger, as she was shot down by the queen’s acquaintance and discovers that there are more of her. She was wrongly accuse of cursing the king, as he was fallen to a deep sleep, only a true love’s kiss can break the curse. Maleficent 2 describes a lot of bond between a mother and her daughter, visual realities, love, and, most importantly, ‘to share kindness between to lands.’ Compared to the previous sequel and current, Maleficent has learned a lot of etiquette's and love between her goddaughter. Overall, I found the second sequel very exciting when the teaser trailer was first released many months ago, as a new adventure awaits for her. However, I am very fond of the costume design, special and CGI effects. I present a 4/5 stars, due to some animation mistakes.
