@karategirl9999 As I believe I already said (somewhere, in this vast void of comments),opinions aren't governed by 'right' and wrong'. Argue all you like, but everyone has the right to speak up, wether they agree with you or not. But you're right, it is the same idea between the book and the movie. Though, a lot can change in the remaining gaps.

@0926 What do you mean by 'read and watch at the same time'? It would technically take longer to read the book than to watch the movie...

This is a good book and a good movie but you know how the book is always different from the book yeah it like a whole another movie but it was still a good book and movie. If i were you i would rather read and watch at the same time cause it actually helps.

movie directors can twist the plot of a story however they want. Directors sometimes just keep the main characters and change the whole plot. I read the whole series, and not one part of the books do Annabeth die and comes back to life.

I loved the movie, but come on?! The plot changes are so big, like they already battle Kronos! And Annabeth dies and comes back to life? Really? That doesn't happen in the book and I hate it! Great movie, but yet a big disappointment

Not a big fan. I like the book series somewhat, thought. But I agree with booknerd01. Not the best movie based on a book, and it wasn't as accurate as it should have been. Didn't Percy get turned into a guinea pig in the book...? I read the book a while ago, but still remember the plot and important scenes.

This movie only follows what the title says and not the plot line at all. It feels like they took 5 scenes from the book and messed everything else up. The first movie didn't help either. If you are going to make a movie that has a book, at least try to follow the plot line so people who have read them wouldn't be so disappointed. Th book series is even one of my favorites.

I totally agree with you. I am the biggest fan of Rick Riordan. I have all of his kids books. This movies was a disappointment to all of his fans, although it was still fun to watch.
