For those of you who are like, " omg RIck Riordan why didn't you tell the movie producers that they made the movie all wrong" and " omg this was horrible it's nothing like the book. If you check Rick Riordan's website, and check the Q & A, it clearly states he had little to no influence on the movie, and even if he wanted to change something, he couldn't. Mostly, they just gave him and scripts and whatnot for him to look over it. The most influence he had was the fact that he wrote the book that the movie was based off of, of course. And, for you guys who are like, "omg this sucks they forgot my fave part", they couldn't fit all the parts of the book into the movie. If they did, it would be extremely long. So, the producers and director chose to take out a couple parts, many of which that were popular within the book. It may have also been taken out due to lack of ability to film it, because special effects only go so far. For those of you that truly liked this movie, sorry if this post offends you, or goes against your opinion (though I have tried to write it from a neutral perspective). But I'm still glad you like the movie, as well as the books. That, is mostly all of which I had to say. As for the review, I'll post that another time. ~~Catbug
