The Fault In Our Stars is a great book. It is about two teenagers Hazel and Gus. Hazel gets really sick with cancer, and Gus smokes a lot. Hazel has to wear a breathing tube because of her cancer. They fall in love with each other, and this is a romantic/sad movie. You should check out the book that goes with the movie. :)

This was my absolute favourite book. So, going into the movie, it was expected to be your average "the book was still better than the movie" scenario. But I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that this was not the case. Although it does represent the main plot of the novel, the film had a completely different feel. Hazel Grace and Gus seemed far more distant from each other. Don't get me wrong, the movie was a pretty good one, but it could not aspire to its obviously superior precursor. I love the actors and they did a very good job, but they portrayed the characters in a more progressive, moving forward sense, when in the book, they seemed to be stuck in a nostalgic loop about life. This was more appealing to the young teenage audience it was projected toward. It is a good movie, but I will always stand by the book when referencing or conversing.
