This was such an fantastic book. This book takes place back around the depression, where it was very hard to find work. Esther's father had the same problem, trouble on finding work, so her father decided to move to a farm, and Esther felt as if everything was falling apart, but she grew to love the farm. This is a book of many up's & downs, it's my personal favorite historical fiction book, and if your into historical fiction, loving characters and some of the best writing, read this book!

I want to be a coder when I grow up!! And.... Like you I want anything with a screen however I would prefer a Kindle fire 7, 8, or 10, an iPod Touch (4th, 5th, or 6th gen) or just a new phone :) However since my mom is anti-electronic that is probably not going to happen (Sadness)

I love all National Geographic Kids books and this one is no different. The pictures are really great and the facts are pretty interesting to learn about.

truesunshine's movie review was featured in Wonder.
This is happy and heartbreaking. It is based off the book Wonder. It is about a boy named Auggie with a facial deformity, and he is going into the 5th grade. He's been home schooled his whole life, and he is finally now going to a regular school. All the actors fit their role PERFECTLY. I still am rating this a 5, even though it was missing very many flaws. It was missing many perspectives from the book, and many parts. But that is normal because usually the movies are way different from the books, and the books are ALWAYS better. But either way, this movie was long and eye catching. I could not take my eyes off it till it ended, I actually even cried too. There were so many up's and down's, but i'm so glad Auggie got through it. It was wonderful seeing this amazing book made into a movie, if you are a fan of Wonder, you'll be a fan of this movie.

I JUST finished this book, and it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It's written in verse/poetry style and it's about a boy named Nick. He plays soccer and something really bad happens- his parents get divorced. Then he can't play in a special tournament in Dallas because he sprained his ankle and something was wrong with his appendix. This book is full of up's and downs. I usually am not a person to read about sports but this one was very interesting and written well. When you start reading this book, you want to keep on reading it until you get to the end, if I ever stopped reading it I would feel like I was on a HUGE cliff hanger because there is a lot of cliff hangers if you dont just keep reading the book. Either way, this book deserves a medal. If you're a fan of soccer, I would TOTALLY recommend this book to you- or even if you're not into soccer, still READ THIS BOOK!
