Austin And Los Angeles Join The Growing Trend To Replace Columbus Day With Indigenous People's Day
Columbus Day SHOULD be replaced with Indigenous People's Day to honor those who were here before anyone else. With every voyage Columbus made to the New World, the indigenous people suffered disease, attacks, and slavery. Additionally, Columbus never made it to America and he was Italian, not Spanish.
