I think this is a good translation of the bible. I like to read it, with the actual bible nearby. I will read a story in the action bible, then read it in the actual bible, and it helps me to understand what's going on a bit better.

I LOVED this book, I've always wanted a book that just talks about everyday life and this is it!! It is all about a family, their ups and downs, and I think Mrs. Alcott did a fantastic job of making you interested in the lives of these four young women. By the end, it feels although you have grown up with them!
