I give this book a 5 out of 5 star book. I loved it so much I read it 3 times. This story explains the process of how Raina damaged her two front teeth. Her freinds were racing, and Raina tripped over something. She soon gets braces and thinks she is not cool.This is the reason I loved this book

I read this book because it was explaining how a girl's life can be painful and hurtful but at the end it get's better. I liked how they described a lot of feelings and emotions.

Do you like thrillers and historical mystery books? If you do, read House of Dies Drear. It is magnificent it relates back to the time of the slaves. Your eyes will be locked on it all night you will not want to sleep. Thomas and Mr and Mrs Small moved into the House of Dies Drear. There is a man named Pluto and when Thomas thought he was the devil. He thought Pluto trashed their kitchen. They found out it the Darrow boys. They found out Pluto has a son named Mayhew. They get revenge and they scare the Darrow boys. Another thing is the Darrow boys were trying to find Dies Drear’s treasure. They dug tunnels to their house and they were sneaking in at night. This is an amazing book. I would give it ten stars if I could.

This magnificent book is filled with heaps of shocking adventures. However, the House of Dies Drear, at some points is very dull and boring. I was expecting this book to be very frightening but the whole plot of the book was not very creepy or alarming. The House of Dies Drear is filled with numerous adventures. One of them was when Thomas and Mr.Smalls ventured into Mr.Pluto's cave. Another adventure They had was at the beginning of the book. When Thomas went in the tunnels under the house he heard a o'ing sound. One last adventure the Smalls had was when they scared away the Darrow boys. Pluto was sick and the Darrow boys were trying to find the hidden treasure. The Smalls had to help Pluto and Mayhew protect the treasures past. The whole book was fantastic but I was expecting this book to be very spooky but the whole plot was not very creepy. At some points of the book in the book l could tell the author was trying to make it eerie but it didn't work out. Now l can see some people getting scared but to me it just didn't have that effect. Perhaps like at the beginning when it was very slow.
