Wait Wait that's tacky their about to take 2 children to court because they didn't pay $25 but on the other side the British mom already payed for the stuff for each child and they didn't attend but in a way there really is no sense in this. Just forget it and the British mom and the other family pay half and half!

What made Julie so upset? The parents of the child attending the party did not call to say they couldn't make it, and didn't pay her the money back after she paid for his admission.

Well,I think it's both tacky and justified. The tacky bit is the ADULTS about to take an issue of 25 dollars and a child's birthday party to court. Also,the child who didn't attends parents might not have had the paper with them. The justified part is that they should pay. It's only fair.

That is unbelievable!!! The parents shouldn't give the child a bill for not attending a party!! That IS so tacky!! >:( Aren't Birthday parties supposed to be fun?!?
