This story is so much fun! I love Shannon Hale, and her idea of a narrator who is kind of star struck is super fun! I love how each girl has quirks that connects her with her famous parents. Fractured Fairy Tales are awesome, so this is a good one. I've never done a choose your own adventure before, so that was a fresh twist on a book. I highly recommend this book!

This book was an incredible read. When I saw the book was compared to JK. Rowling's stories, I thought this would be fun to read and I wasn't disappointed. I related to 11 year old Ivy Sparrow since I'm also an 11 year old girl. Ivy is brave and I'd like to be brave in my life too. Luckily I haven't had any tragedies like Ivy and her brother did. Their grandmother gets hurt, and the house is destroyed and dangerous men chase them. There's lots of excitement and adventure in this book, so you'll want to turn the page. This story is magical and well worth reading.

This is a 4 star book. It's about 8 kids who survive a plane crash and have no idea where they are. My favorite character was Anna because she says the truth and doesn't try to make things seem less dangerous than they really are. She controls the gravity machine and protects it. The story was interesting and the characters were engaging and relatable...except for Caleb. He was not likable. Overall, I highly recommend this book!

Short is about a girl who is short of course. She stars as a munchkin and a flying monkey in the productions of the Wizard of Oz. The story is funny and sad and Julia is a likable character. I felt like the plot was interesting, but could have been a little more fast paced. Julia changes in the end and appreciates herself which is an important thing to do.
